Improving productivity is crucially important for all manufacturing organizations. The curriculum is designed to produce specialists who are proficient in designing optimum systems for enhancing productivity and also in improving and managing these systems efficiently. To achieve this, students must acquire a wide range of special knowledge covering production control, systems engineering, and operations research. Four specializations are available, each designed to develop additional skills related to the needs of the industry. These specializations are: manufacturing systems engineering, systems design engineering, intelligent systems engineering, and human information engineering. The objective of the entire curriculum is to educate students so they will become technically competent and engineers with high standards of professional ethics.
The Department of Information Systems Engineering offers a program to create engineers who can make technical contributions to and provide technical leadership in a diverse and changing global society.
